Nuggets Advance to NBA Finals After Sweeping Lakers
Historic Victory Marks First Finals Appearance for Denver

DENVER, Colorado - The Denver Nuggets have made history, advancing to the NBA Finals for the first time after completing a four-game sweep of the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Finals.
Trailing by 15 points at halftime in Game 4, the Nuggets rallied in the second half to secure the 113-111 victory and secure their spot in the championship series.
"This is a dream come true for us," said Nuggets head coach Michael Malone. "We've worked so hard all year, and we're just thrilled to be here."
Nikola Jokic led the Nuggets with 28 points and 12 rebounds, while Jamal Murray added 26 points and 8 assists. Anthony Davis led the Lakers with 29 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Nuggets' strong second-half performance.
The Nuggets will face the Eastern Conference champion Miami Heat in the NBA Finals, which begin on June 1st.
